The Family Tree of doll Collecting
The family Tree of doll Collecting. Since I was a little girl dolls have been a part of my heritage. My Grandmother made doll clothes for my Mother's one and only porclein baby doll. In the early 1930's you were lucky to have one baby doll to call your own. My Mother is still collecting dolls today. She has many different kinds. My childhood included porclein and vinyl baby dolls and many Barbie dolls. I can remember my sister and I sitting on the floor playing with our dolls. We would play dressup with them, making them look fablous. What a great memory! My sister was a very special part of my life and she is missed very dearly since God has taken her under his wing. I can remember makeing furniture out of little pieces of wood and makeshift houses for our dolls. My mother would crocheting little oval rugs for our dolls house. Doll collecting is something that is definately passed down from one generation to another. My daughter also loves her dolls. She has many vinyl baby dolls and now has started collecting the popular American girl dolls. Yes they are expensive, but they are a great quality doll. We just love them! We love the many different themes and styles you can dress your best friend in. We have been so inspired by dolls that we have recently started our own doll clothing business. So please stop in our store and see all the beautiful thing we have for all your doll needs at http://www.fashionfordolls.com/ Dolls dolls everywhere! What a great life.
